Spring weather brings more Chicks!

 

It has been a good season so far we have been selling out fast and deliveries of new chicks are coming in every week. Check out the left column on this blog for what has been ordered.

To secure your orders please either call in or come in and make a pre-paid order. When your chicks arrive you will be called and you have 24 hours to pick them up.

Mid to late March we will begin to get silkies, ducks, guinea and turkeys. please keep and eye on the blog for updates.

SPRING CHICKS!!!

It might still be cold outside, but you can have a brooder inside raising your new baby chicks. In the next 6 to 8 weeks you will care for them and bond with them, this will give you time either to build a new coop or preparing for them to join your existing flock.

This is an exciting time! Waking up to chirping and watching them grow is family fun. In 16 to 18 weeks from the day you brought them home, they will begin to lay eggs for you. Starting in March the selection of chicks will increase, so watch the left column of this blog and make your plans to get some rare or uniquely birds to add to your flock.

In March we will start ordering ducks, turkeys, guineas and geese. Please come in and make a request for these special birds. Once birds are ordered and show up on the blog, We recommend that you come into the store and do a Pre-Paid Special Order so you will get the birds you want.
